Maimonides has a group known as the Users' Committee which is composed of members elected by the resident population and family members. The committee provides one of the ways for residents to communicate their concerns to the Administration and has two representatives on the Board of Directors.
Empowered by Quebec's Health and Social Services Act, the Users' Committee deals with defending the common rights of residents, informing them of their rights and obligations, helping to improve living conditions, assessing their degree of satisfaction and assisting them in any action undertaken, including the filing of a complaint.
If you wish to know more about the Users' Committee, kindly call the Centre at 483-2121 and leave a message with the receptionist who will have someone return your call. |
